About Cameo Community Arts

Our Vision:

The power of storytelling to connect all people.

Our Mission:

The Cameo Cinema is a distinctive place
to create experiences and engage communities.

The Cameo Community Arts is a branch of the Cameo Cinema that provides a variety of quality (highly-discounted or even free-admission) programming to the community. The Cameo Community Arts hosts the annual St. Helena Family Film Festival, is a member of the Napa Valley Film Festival, and puts on a slew of free events year-round including but not limited to The Royal Wedding of Kate and Will, the World Cup, World Series, the annual New Years community film, and more.

The Community Films series include:

  • Art Film Series: This series provides a weekly art film shown Wednesday evenings and Friday mornings. Genres include everything from the “classics”, foreign films, documentaries, to following a theme based on genre or director.
  • Family Film Series: This provides a film perfect for the family. One or two weekends a month, screenings are shown at noon on Saturday and Sunday.
  • Late! Night Series: For those must see movies, generally for more mature audiences.
  • Fine Art Series: Digital Cinecast featuring opera, ballet, and theatre performed in the best venues around the world.

Many other events are constantly being hosted by the Cameo Cinema. Check out our calendar to keep up on the latest.
